The Pipeline Sector is an integral part of Paton with its engineering and field services offered to the worldwide oil and gas industries. The sector has offices in Houston, Texas and Sarnia, Ontario. However, Paton personnel are available when and where they are needed.

Paton is a full-service pipeline system consulting firm with the expertise to manage and/or implement any part of a pipeline or appurtenant facility project. From conception through commissioning, Paton has the personnel to deliver high quality design services. Project facilities include, Onshore Pipelines, Compressor/Pump Stations, Meter/Regulator Stations, and Processing Facilities. Engineering services include Feasibility/Due Diligence Studies, Engineering, Design, Drafting, Mapping, and Purchasing. Paton specializes in co-generation, fossil-fired and natural gas-fired power plants. Over the past 24 years we have completed many upgrade projects on fossil-fired power units and independent power / generation plants.

Part of our engineering services is to provide our clients with the latest and best available technological solutions. Paton in Refining

Refining is a manufacturing process where crude oil is processed and refined into more useful petroleum products such as gasoline, diesel fuel, asphalt base, heating oil, kerosene, and liquefied petroleum gas. Paton has extensive experience executing petroleum-based projects of different magnitudes throughout the Gulf Coast Region and soon Southeast Texas. Petroleum refining and upgrading projects are at the core of Paton's business expertise.

Over the years, Paton has executed hundreds of projects for a variety of different clients. Most of these projects have been revamps to upgrade to a heavier crude feedstock, to expand processing capacity or to debottleneck existing units. Paton in Automation & Control

Automation & Control is one of Paton's core competencies. Paton's process controls group has expertise, knowledge and experience in the engineering, specification and implementation of control, automation and information systems. Networks have become the common highway for connectivity and data transport between local and remotes sites. Networks now provide the infrastructure for computer networks, distributed control systems (DCS), and security applications. This has created an opportunity to see efficiencies in infrastructure design and implementation of advanced technologies in a variety of architectures.
